Sandi Murphy serves as General Counsel of CommandLink, bringing more than three decades of distinguished legal leadership across the telecommunications, technology, retail, manufacturing, and private investment sectors. She provides strategic legal guidance across the organization, advising on governance, contract strategy, regulatory compliance, and risk management with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach. Her extensive experience in complex M&A and technology transactions, combined with a hands-on approach to dealmaking, strengthens CommandLink’s ability to scale globally with clarity and confidence.

Before joining CommandLink, Sandi served as General Counsel for Canal Pointe Capital, where for more than a decade she oversaw the private equity firm’s legal and regulatory affairs, including the execution of new investments and ongoing legal support for portfolio companies. She simultaneously held the role of Senior Vice President & General Counsel at First Communications, a nationwide telecommunications and managed services provider, where she led legal strategy across a broad technology portfolio and guided acquisitions in support of long-term growth initiatives. Earlier in her career, Sandi served as North American Tire Attorney at The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel for ProCare Automotive. She began her legal career in private practice as a partner at Benesch Friedlander and as counsel at Jones Day, advising on complex corporate and securities transactions, corporate governance, and commercial contracting for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies and emerging growth enterprises to private equity firms, financial institutions, underwriters, and bankruptcy examiners.

Sandi holds a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she served as a Vanderbilt Law Review Editor, and a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from Kent State University, where she received the KSU Young Alumni Achievement Award. She enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, listening to live music, and spending time with her family.
